Seamas Hunt of County Wicklow Ireland and Gary
Humphrey of Pittsburgh opened Paddy O'Leary's Irish Pub on March 10th
of 2000, just a few days before St. Patrick's Day. From that
first day the people and visitors of Pensacola Beach knew where to go
for an authentic Pint of Guinness and a great time that can only be
found in a true Irish Pub.
Hurricane Ivan left Paddy O'Leary's under
four feet of water in September of 2004 but Seamas and Gary were
determined and set out to remodel to look even more like a traditional
Irish Pub. On December 31st 2004, Seamas and Gary celebrated new
Years Eve and re-opened their doors to reclaim Pensacola Beach's Irish
tradition.
